When it comes to cannabis, I might not be on the level of Wiz or Willie, but I don't consider myself a newbie. To put it bluntly, Mary and I became well acquainted throughout my late teens and early twenties. I medicate for various reasons, the most prominent being back pain, GI related pain, and anxiety. I'm 22 year old woman, and like many of my fellow Gen Z'ers/Millennials, I'm always ballin' on a budget. This being said, I tend to search for both the best quality and the most competitive price. Since legalization went into effect, Oklahomans with medical marijuana cards have had a wide array of different dispensaries to visit. Having had my card for over a year now, I've gone to more places than I can count. I consider myself an experienced user, and while I won't admit to knowing everything, I do know what constitutes some good ganja. 10. Cloud City
Located in the heart of downtown, Cloud City is conveniently positioned between Midtown and the Business District of Oklahoma City. Open till 3 AM most nights, this spot is perfect for picking up some bud and hitting the town. My favorite strain from Cloud City is their Mimosa, an uplifting and citrus-y Sativa.
9. Sage Wellness
This dispensary on Western Ave. has a sleek and spacious layout, with kind and helpful budtenders. Occasionally, they run Weedmaps deals, offering discounts on flower, edibles, and other medical products. Sage Wellness keeps its shelves stocked with tons of succulent strains.
8. Project Releaf
Open 24 hours, Project Releaf continues to stay unique in the OKC cannabis scene. Their storefront may be a little small, but they make up for that with their great prices! From cartridges, to concentrates, and even flower, this place provides a bang for your buck without breaking the bank.
7. Vertica
With both Oklahoma City and Norman locations, this place never fails to disappoint with their premium flower. While their bud may be on the pricey side, it is always worth the investment! I haven't had a single strain from Vertica I haven't liked. Everything I've tried was potent, tasty, and well cured.
6. STASH Cannabis Company
On the edge of Edmond and OKC, STASH's location on the northside is one of my favorite places to pick up flower. They have awesome budtenders, and dope daily deals. If that wasn't enough, their loyalty points program is always saving me some extra cash. If you aren't on the northside, don't worry! They have multiple locations across the metro area.
5. Friendly Market
This headshop turned dispensary from Norman has put down roots on Hefner Road, and I couldn't be happier! This place is truly one of a kind. The glass and accessories section has everything a stoner might need. From vaporizers, to bongs, even batteries and papers, Friendly has it all. That vast selection is reflected in the medical section. Best part is, the owners of Friendly Market are vegan! They carry only vegan edibles, making this the best stop for cruelty-free munchies.
4. U.W.D - Urban Wellness Dispensary
This dispensary has known what's up since the very beginning. U.W.D. has various locations across the metro, providing patients with high quality flower. Additionally, they also carry concentrates at a competitive price, along with a large inventory of high quality CBD extracts. Bonus - they offer a 5% loyalty discount after your first few visits!
3. Green Roots Wellness
Adjacent to OSU's OKC Campus, Green Roots Wellness has always kept the industry standard high - pun intended. Their flower is some of the best I've tried around the city; I always end up coming back for more! Their loyalty points program builds store credit, and they constantly update their Weedmaps deals. This is a true one-stop shop!
2. Green Escape
Nextdoor to the Oklahoma City Ballet sits Green Escape. This dispensary boasts a wide selection of gorgeous flower at multiple different price-points, along with edibles and concentrates. They also offer loyalty points in addition to their daily deals, so stop in to give them a go! My favorite strains they carry are Donkey Butter, Pineapple Chunk, and Jack Herer.
1. Craft Cannabis Company
This dispensary is at the top of my list due to their impeccable pricing on their house White Mousse and 77 Extracts. Their discount for industry workers is also a huge perk! Some days, they'll discount the already affordable house concentrates (normally $35/g) down to 3 for $90. Say whaaaaaa? You read that right! There's no doubt in my mind that Craft is run by fellow patients and connoisseurs, and that shows in the ways they give back to their patients. Did I mention that they'll give you a punch card? Stop in and let them know that I sent you!
