What to Expect During Your Boudoir Session
Boudoir Sessions are usually done in a professional photographer’s studio, such as my own. This provides the absolute best environment to capture images in a stunning, styled space. Before your photoshoot, we will consult via email to discuss the vision for the shoot and what kind of looks you want to achieve through your hair, makeup, props, and lingerie.
On the day of your shoot, you can expect to spend around 3 hours in the studio with myself and our makeup artist. During that time, you’ll enjoy professional hair and makeup as we select your lingerie from our complimentary size inclusive Client Closet. Once we are finished with the glam, you will change into your selected lingerie and we will begin the photoshoot. I will guide you through posing, even occasionally modeling the pose to give you a visual cue. Although I do assist in posing, I do capture both candid and posed shots throughout your Boudoir Session for a natural variety. While some womxn feel nervous or self-conscious at first, most quickly settle into the experience and have a TON of fun with it!
Once we finish your photoshoot, I’ll send you out to a late lunch for a few hours while I retouch all of your photos. When you come back from lunch, that’s when we have your Viewing Session where you’ll see all of your beautiful images for the first time!
