I believe that together, we can work towards a better tomorrow by raising our voices and working on direct action today. That being said, I regularly work to benefit community projects and charitable causes. This page provides transparency regarding organizations I support through the profits of my creative business. Relief for Palestine
ACTIVE NOW: This direct relief effort benefits individuals in Palestine who are impacted by the current situation on the ground that has been ongoing since October of 2023. Currently, 20% of all proceeds from my online store, Studio 97, will be donated evenly across five families' GoFundMe campaigns, as listed and linked above. I have also included a link to Operation Olive Branch for additional resources.
Abortion Access
Amidst Roe V. Wade being overturned, and the tumultuous change of abortion law across America, I immediately knew I needed to act. To raise funds for those needing safe abortion access, I organized a benefit through our studio Boudoir Sessions. Numerous women from various backgrounds participated in these fundraising photoshoots, with 20% of proceeds donated toward abortion access and mutual aid in 2022.
Nappy Roots Bookstore
In 2021, a 12 x 16 piece of Metal Wall Art taken in 2020 from the photo series "Portland Protests: Power to the People" was donated to Nappy Roots Bookstore. This piece of Metal Wall Art was auctioned off at Nappy Roots Bookstore to benefit their local business and continue their mission within our community.
